STOCKING

We have been having an issue with items being overstocked on truck days.  If you are stocking an item and the peg/shelf seems to already be full (think: 'Why are we getting more of these in?'), there is a good chance that the inventory is off or an order point got changed and the item was automatically ordered even though we have plenty in stock.  If this is the case, count the items on the peg/shelf and write down the SKU, then check quantity in IMU to see if it is off.  If the quantity on hand does not match what shows in IMU, notify a manager and we will adjust inventory/order points to correct the problem.  This will help with keeping backstocked items to a minimum.  If you have any questions about this or how to check IMU, let one of the managers know.
