Please try not to conglomerate at the service counter. I have noticed a few times this past week that 3, 4, and even 5 people all hanging around the same area. This looks unprofessional. If you are at the service desk area I expect you to be working on something. If anything, you should 'hang out' near the register until a customer comes in, and help them with their project(s). I don't want to see you talking amongst each other while a customer walks by reading each aisle sign obliviously.
Just a reminder: DO NOT PUT CLIPSTRIPS ON PEGS! If you are not sure where something goes, please ask someone.
Also, try and start focusing on add-on sales. Easy ones are mentioning a roll of teflon tape if the customer is working on a plumbing project, or brushes/tape for a painting project, etc. Let's try and get the average ticket up. All in all you guys are doing a great job, and the numbers are up for the year. Keep up the good work!
Thanks,
- Nick G
