If we stock the same item in ACE brand and a name brand, show the customer or hand them the name brand item first, and let them choose the less expensive ACE brand item if they want. I caught myself not doing this with light bulbs this morning. I instinctively handed him the cheaper ACE bulbs when I'm sure he would have bought the GE brand if I had handed him those. It is the consumers' habit to find the best bargain, but I would like us to get into the habit of guiding the customer to buy the name brand items instead of the ACE brand. Please do not talk down ACE brand products; most are just as good as their name brand counterparts (Except our masking tape, badmouth that as much as you want... What kind of tape doesn't even stick to itself?!). Keep up the good work, our numbers are Stihl up for the month :)
If you have any ideas for Haunted Hardware, let Kyle of I know please.
Thanks,
